Funny, watching the hair color videos, looks like people are still doing all the steps you tried back then to try to reach the platinum stage. I''m not a beautician but have cut my own hair for years. At any rate, you really do a great job on the color and your cuts. Some of the you tube videos and critiques by the hairdressers are hilarious. My mom was a platinum blonde starting back in the 60s when I was a kid. I started "frosting" my hair in high school then got the bright idea a couple years later that I could "shampoo" in a boxed blond color, which turned green, which was definitely not cool in those days. I put a scarf on and hit the local beauty school and was surrounded by students and the teachers as they "fixed" me back to my light brown color, lol. Now I'm near 70, quit coloring years ago and actually like my grey coming in. Grey is in these days. Who woulda thought.

How easy is this. $15 clippers from Walmart, good bye $40 beauty salon expenses. 40 years of salon service at $30 six times a year? That's about $7,200 or more i could have put into my long-term care premium fund oh well 🙁
